Basilar invagination, a rare condition in which the odontoid (part of neck bone) is abnormally higher inside the brain and compressing the uppermost part of spinal cord. This patient presented with spastic quadriparesis (difficulty in walking and hand work).
Operated him by a complex surgery called DCER and occipitocervical fixation uneventfully. Complete reduction of Basilar invagination achieved. Patient improved completely and mobilised the day after surgery.

13 yrs female with cong kyphoscoliosis and d10 posterolateral wedge hemivetebra.
kyphosis 104 degree and scoliosis 43degrees.
Did vcr d10 with correction of deformity, fixation and fusion. Post op spine balnced in both sagittal and coronal planes.
Patient neurology intact. Mobilised.
